What can I do if my order has arrived damaged or I want to return?
+We have a brilliant local company that carefully packs our granola, porridge and muesli boxes to ensure our products get to you and your gut in perfect condition. If your order looks like it's had a rough ride or you're not happy with our products, drop us an email at hello@bioandme.co.uk with a snap of the damage within 14 days of delivery. We'll send over a replacement or refund as soon as we can. If you've opened your granola and had a taste (it's hard to resist!), we're afraid we won't be able to issue a refund to you - but we'd love to hear what you think.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR HEALTH
Is Bio&Me OK for Vegans?
+Our Bio&Me granolas, porridges and mueslis are 100% plant-based and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Our gut-loving yoghurts contain cow's milk (naturally!). This means our yoghurts are suitable for vegetarians but, unfortunately, not vegans.
Is Bio&Me OK for people that are Lactose intolerance?
+Yes, Bio&Me granolas, porridges and mueslis are dairy-free (lactose is the natural sugar present in milk). However, our yoghurts do contain cow's milk. If you have a severe lactose intolerance, we advise against consuming our yoghurt products. We always recommend speaking with your GP for guidance first.
Is Bio&Me OK for people that have Nut allergies?
+Our granolas, porridges and mueslis do contain nuts, so they are NOT suitable for those with nut allergies. Our granolas, porridges and mueslis do not contain peanuts. However, please be aware they are baked in a factory that does handle peanuts.
ABOUT BIO&ME GRANOLA, PORRIDGE & MUESLI
Are Bio&Me granolas, porridge and Muesli suitable for children?
+Absolutely! Our products are a healthy no-added-sugar option for children without compromising on taste. They contain around half of their daily fibre intake per serving (yes, including the chocolatey one!). And they'll be getting 15 different types of plant-based foods without even knowing it. For children under the age of four, please note our granolas contain whole nuts, so be careful to avoid the risk of choking whilst they're still learning their chewing skills. For toddlers, you may like to whizz up the tasty clusters into smaller pieces. Unfortunately, our current granola, porridge and muesli range won't be suitable if your child has an oat or nut allergy.
Are Bio&Me granolas, porridge and muesli suitable while pregnant?
+None of our ingredients in Bio&Me granolas are classed as unsafe during pregnancy, however, it's always best to check with your healthcare team first. For more information on this, visit the NHS website.
Can the Bio&Me packaging be recycled?
+We use 100% recycled material for our card boxes and 100% recyclable cardboard, widely recycled by local authorities. Our inner bag is made from food-safe plastic film, which, while it is theoretically recyclable, it is down to local authorities as to whether they accept it. We're committed to minimising our impact on the environment, and we will always use the most sustainable options available to us. Sadly, there aren't any great commercially viable options for home compostable packaging that are better for our planet. But we are working on a project with our supplier to move into compostable packaging, but it will take some time as we want to make sure any new packaging is genuinely better for the environment. We're always on the look out for new alternatives to minimise our environmental impact – so if you come across smart, eco-friendly packaging alternatives, please do get in touch. We'd love to explore it.
What is prebiotic fibre?
+A prebiotic (not to be mistaken for a probiotic) is essentially food that feeds your beneficial microbes. Most prebiotics are a type of dietary fibre, but to gain the title of a prebiotic, it must prove it has a health benefit in scientific trials. It's a pretty coveted title! At Bio&Me, we've made our granolas, porridges, and mueslis with prebiotic fibres. They've been linked to a range of health benefits, from improving blood-sugar control and appetite regulation, to supporting our immunity, bone and skin health.
Does Bio&Me contain sugar or salt?
+There is no added sugar and no added salt in Bio&Me products. You'll only find naturally occurring sugars and salt from plant-based foods here!
